QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Do mini, extra mini or teacup Yorkshire Terriers exist?
Mini Yorkshire Terrier, extra mini Yorkshire Terrier, and teacup Yorkshire Terrier are not separate dog breeds. These designations are primarily commercial terms used for smaller-than-average individuals.
Mini Yorkshire Terrier – What does it actually mean?
The adult weight of a Yorkshire Terrier typically ranges between 2–3 kg, though individuals both smaller and larger can occur. The term mini Yorkshire Terrier usually refers to puppies with finer bone structure and petite stature, but it does not represent an official size category.
Particularly tiny Yorkshire Terrier puppies are also born in our kennel, but health, anatomical harmony, and a balanced temperament are always our foremost priorities.
Extra mini and teacup Yorkshire Terrier
The designations extra mini and teacup Yorkshire Terrier are used for exceptionally small dogs. These are predominantly commercial terms without any standardized weight limit.
It is important to understand that extreme miniaturization can carry heightened health risks, such as hypoglycemia or more delicate bone structure. This does not mean every petite Yorkshire Terrier is unhealthy.
How big will they get as adults?
The expected adult size of a Yorkshire Terrier can be estimated based on parents, pedigree bloodlines, and puppy development, but a precise adult weight cannot responsibly be guaranteed.
The Magic Little Foot philosophy
With over 15 years of breeding dedication, we strive to raise Yorkshire Terrier puppies that, beyond their exquisite appearance, are healthy, robust, and affectionate in nature.
To us, the true value of a Yorkshire Terrier is never defined by size, but by health, quality, and personality.
Is Yorkshire Terrier coat truly hypoallergenic?
Yes! Yorkshire Terriers do not have an undercoat. Their silky hair resembles human hair and does not shed in the home, making them ideal for allergy-conscious families.
What color varieties are available in our kennel?
In the Magic Little Foot kennel, both classic and rare Yorkshire Terrier color varieties are present, including Black and Tan, black, Biewer, Golddust, Biro, Choco (chocolate), Ocean Pearl, and various Merle coats.
You can explore our currently available puppies under the 'Available Puppies' menu, and read detailed genetic and breed insights in our Knowledge Base.
Can the puppy be viewed via live video call before reservation?
Absolutely! We prioritize total transparency. We gladly introduce you to your chosen puppy and their parents via a live WhatsApp video consultation from the comfort of your home.

"Dear Edit and Andrei, thank you for making it possible for two bundles of joy to enter our lives. We picked up our first Yorkshire Terrier, Snickers, in person in 2021 and fell in love instantly. Recently, our second puppy, Barley – a Goldust Yorkshire Terrier – arrived via international flight transport. Every step was smooth and thoroughly professional! Edit guided us through everything and we even visited Barley multiple times via video calls before adoption."
